Semplicita Pro
Semplicita Pro is a modern sans serif design that takes as its inspiration Alessandro Butti’s 1930 design, Semplicità, for the Nebiolo foundry. Like its predecessor, Semplicita Pro seeks to replace cool geometric forms with warm calligraphic ones, but it also seeks to ‘solve a practical puzzle: How to make modernist sans serif letterforms truly readable at small sizes yet persuasive as message-carriers in display.’ As a result, Semplicita Pro is an immensely readable and expressive sans serif whose simplicity seeks to encourage better understanding.
Semplicita Pro contains:
- 10 fonts containing over 850 glyphs per font
- small caps
- stylistic alternates
- ligatures
- oldstyle, lining and tabular figures
- automatic fractions
- numerators
- denominators
- inferiors
- ordinals
- extended language support
