A Gathering of Flowers from Shakespeare

Thirty wood engravings by G Brender a Brandis on the subject of flowers that are mentioned in Shakespeare, with explanatory texts by F David Hoeniger, professor emeritus of English at Victoria College, University of Toronto.

The original, letterpress, edition of A Gathering of Flowers from Shakespeare was published in Stratford in a run of 97 copies in 1997.

A popularly priced offset facsimile of the letterpress edition was released by the Porcupine's Quill (Erin, Ontario) in 2006.

Printed offset on the Heidelberg KORD at the printing office of the Porcupine's Quill in the Village of Erin, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. Smyth sewn into 16-page signatures. With coloured endleaves, hand-tipped, front and back.

Keepsake laid in was printed offset by Tim Inkster after a wood engraving by G Brender a Brandis. The cover was also printed offset by Tim Inkster at the Porcupine's Quill and features two additional wood engravings by G Brender a Brandis.
